Crown – Located at the top of the head. This chakra is your connection to the universe and your higher self. It is the link between wisdom and spiritual insight.
A blocked chakra = Confusion, fuzzy, tired, mental conflict, indecisiveness.
Third Eye – Located between the eye-brows, on the lower forehead. This chakra is highly associated with clairvoyance (inner seeing), intuition and higher levels of consciousness.
A blocked chakra = will prevent you from developing further with your psychic abilities.
Throat – Located in the throat area. This chakra relates to communication, sound, creativity, and has the ability of clairaudience (inner hearing).
A blocked chakra = Lack of expression through communication. All choked up. Unable to say what you truly want. Keeping your inner feelings suppressed.
Heart – This chakra is located parallel to the heart. It relates to unconditional love, compassion, harmony, relationships and healing.
A blocked chakra = A broken heart or heaviness in the heart can come from a break-up with your partner, loss of a loved one, being cheated or deceived by someone close, lost pet, etc. It truly feels broken. Heavy.
Solar Plexus – This chakra is located just below the rib cage and represents power, vitality, willpower, self-esteem and confidence.
A blocked chakra = Feeling sick to the stomach about issues that you worry about .
Sacral – This chakra is located just below the naval and mostly relates to your emotions, desires, creativity and sexuality.
A blocked chakra = This chakra is related to gut feelings and torrid emotions relating to love, hate, and the elements of dedication. It can consume us if we let it get out of balance through obsessive-compulsive behaviour and also bring about negative emotions
Base – This energy centre is situated at the base of your spine and is most closely associated to all of your earthly issues, such as survival, the physical body, finances, sustenance & stability.
A blocked chakra = Energy levels are low, vitality is weak, insecurities, low libido. |

Warriors of the Rainbow

I was so pleased when I told Deanne about Spiritual Gas that she wanted to come onboard. She is quite the most gifted healer that I have come across, and someone who is expressive, intuitive and trustworthy.
I was attracted to her business name - having been at the Auckland Wharf when the Rainbow Warrior was blown up on July 10th, 1985.. it resonated with me somehow.

Long Distance Healing
Long Distance Healing also referred to as Remote Healing, Absent Healing or Non-Local Healing, works on the premise that everything is connected by energy; thus distance is unimportant. Energy has no limitations or boundaries, making long distance healing just as effective as healing sessions conducted in person. There are a significant amount of people who have reported powerful results emotionally, mentally and physically when they have received a long distance healing. It is extremely effective. Most recipients feel the energy almost immediately, others up to a week later. We are all different!

One Page Wisdom
Somewhere over the Rainbow
Hi, my name is Deanne and this is my story (in a nutshell, anyway). I am 42 years old and a single mum of 5 children. I am an Energy-Healer and also love working with Crystals. I would like to share with you how I came about my business name and the meaning behind the meaning and where its lead me to, and it goes something like this....
I live in a rural area which is studded with your typical Aussie gum trees and iron barks. One day, I was driving down the old dirt road to the bus-stop to pick up my children from after school. As I came over the crest of the hill, right there in front of me was this absolutely beautiful rainbow as large as life. I then noticed all of my children, who were spread out across the width of the road, were completely engulfed within the rainbow. I was absolutely gob-smacked by this amazing picture that truly captivated me and every hair on my head and body which become alive with an overwhelming display of goose bumps. I only wish I’d had a camera! Honestly, the chances of that happening would be 1 in a million. (Must be an omen) I told everyone I knew that I found the pot-of-gold at the end of the rainbow, but in fact there were five.
Anyway, as it is, my kids’ favourite show is Naruto, which is a Japanese Anime. It is about a world of ninja’s (warriors) who use the ‘Energy’ within their chakras’ to protect their village and homes.
I then thought of the name ‘Rainbow Warriors’ as I am intrigued with our life force energy and my five warriors were lucky enough to be engulfed in a rainbow, it just seemed to fit.
When I furthered my search into this name, I discovered that Rainbow Warrior is perhaps one of the most famous Greenpeace ships of today and that its name was inspired by a Native American Indian prophesy, which foretells a time when human greed will make the earth sick and a mythical band/group of warriors will descend from the rainbow to save it. This ship also supported a township, called Hartlepool. I was gobsmacked at that particular article as Hartley is my last name and pool represents group/organisation/bring together. Ah-huh, Another step closer.......
I followed my intuition and gut feelings and looked deeper into the name again and discovered that the rainbow holds a special significance. Prophesies and stories of many nations, all said the rainbow was a focal point of spiritual belief. A group of people would come together and they would be called the “Warriors of the Rainbow” and they would help, teach, show and heal the people the way of the Great Spirit. Healings of all sorts and on many levels would take place. I then knew, “Warriors of the Rainbow”was to be. It is my dream and life-time goal to have a well-being retreat, where all natural therapies and healings from A-Z are under one roof. So there you have my story behind my business name, “Warriors of the Rainbow”. Mind you, I’m not quite there yet, it’s still in the making.
Now you get the other half of the story that has led me to why I am here and have chosen this field of work. A true calling from within imprinted its heartfelt presence upon me when my mum became terminally ill with pancreatic cancer. My mum and I were very close. My desire to be involved in the field of crystals and energy work in particular, is because it is non-invasive and pain free. Mum couldn’t take any conventional type of oral medication without it making her violently ill and/or adverse side-effects, even prior to being diagnosed. It was the most terrible feeling and I felt so useless when mum was in so much pain and nothing could be offered to her to ease this pain, until final stages had set in, then morphine was prescribed. I just had this inner knowing that in some way crystals may help. So I followed my intuition and gut feelings again and tried to get a crystal/energy therapist from Melbourne to travel to N/E Vic as mum was too ill to travel. I couldn’t get anyone to travel that far and at that point in time I was unaware of distance healings. No-one deserves to suffer with such intense pain. I dedicate this story to my mum, who passed away in February 2004 and from where these “words of wisdom come from real life experiences”. So, for anybody who just can’t take the conventional type of medicine or who are looking for a more subtle, non-invasive and natural treatments, a good place to start would be New Age Directories which was put together by Crystal Universe. There are so many good practitioners out there who are all ready to empower, enhance and uplift your well-being on a mind, body and soul level. I suggest you do your homework first as to who you feel is suitable to your needs and let your intuition guide you the rest of the way. Of course, word of mouth will generally lead you to a great therapist and you and only you are your own best guide and know your body better than anyone, so you will know if you feel better after a treatment. That applies to everything by the way.
So, I hope you enjoyed my story, although I endured much heartache and pain in the process, but they call that “part of the journey”. So ‘Somewhere, over the Rainbow’ I hope you all find something you’re passionate about and follow your dreams (intuition and gut feelings) to find the pot of gold. I think it is another name for happiness, we all have it within, we just have to find it.

You, yourself can generally tell when you are ready for an energy healing as you know your own body better than anyone and will know when you are due as you will feel all ‘out of sorts’..... moody, depressed, tired, sick, lethargic, teary, up & down, etc.
There are all sorts of tell tale signs. Our physical bodies have an aura field and sometimes this becomes depleted and allows for blockages in our chakra’s to occur, as they can become dirty, blocked and diseased.
I work with the flow of energy to help remove the blockages, then cleanse, energise and balance the chakra’s as I go. This usually takes approximately 1hr or longer, depending on how many blockages you have.
